❤︎   Never Miss A Post ...

He is Mr. Deev

This month I am raising my glass to a talented digital manipulator and creator, Mr. Deev (aka Dávid Kajma). This inspiring young artist was born in 1998 and until quite recently, Dávid had only experienced art with traditional mediums. Soon after leaving high school Dávid discovered the immense artistic possibilities within the digital world and glimpsed his future. I for one can not wait to watch him flourish on his artistic journey.

First and Foremost

Tell us a little about your background. When were you born? Where did you grow up? Did art play a significant role in your childhood?

I was born in 1998 In Slovakia, where I also grew up. I can remember I had my artistic urges very young, I was always drawing animals, or at least trying to. I could lay on the floor for hours with a pencil and a piece of paper and just using my fantasy to draw stuff.

Did you delve straight into the world of art after high school or did you come to it later in your life? In either case, what exactly inspired you to pursue art as a career?

We had several art classes in my high school, but that only consisted of traditional drawing and painting. After high school, I discovered the world of 3D art. I started to search up professional 3D artists and when I saw what can be possible with this kind of technique, I immediately knew that this is where I want my path as an artists to continue. That was my inspiration.

The Nitty-Gritty

Which tools and mediums do you use and or prefer? Do you have a set process for creating your work?

Basically I try not to focus on one medium and I'm really trying to implement a lot of different processes to master.

What is your art in relation to your heart? Tell us your why. What does it all mean to you?

Basically I try not to focus on one medium and I'm really trying to implement a lot of different processes to master.

What are your thoughts on where your art began, to what it has now become?

I noticed that I always like my most latest artworks the most. But as time goes I start to see what I did wrong and what could've been done better and really look at them with a bit of disappointment. But now I know that only indicates the fact that I somehow leveled up, and this really keeps me going forward.

Five For Fun

If you could only wear one colour ever again, what what you be? Why?

I'd choose dark grey, I love the way it somehow appear strong and forceful.

What is something which you possess that you would never sell or give away, ever? Why?

My 2 cats. I think this is self explanatory.

In a garden of all of the flowers, which one would you choose? Why?

Definitely a Bird of Paradise flower, for me this is the most beautiful and charming flower.

If you were a paint brush, how would you describe yourself?

Tricky question, Probably some fine pointed precise brush, with blue wooden handle.

What is one talent you have outside of being an artist?

I love to craft things, (non artistic too).

Before You Go...

Anything you would like to add? What is up next for you that we should look out for?

I am definitely looking forward to be a big part of NFT world, I love the idea that some day our art will be displayed in a virtual world. That is the path I'm choosing as an artist.

Where can we find you?

What is one pro-tip lesson you have learned from your past as an artist?

If you think you can't be good in what you are trying to achieve, you're wrong ! it all really just takes some time and practice.

What is your one boss-tip for all women to be true to themselves and live their best lives?

Work on your life goals, and never give up on things you love.

She is Art.

Be Bold. Be Sexy. Be Fierce.
